How to Become a Dog Groomer
By participating in Dog World’s training program, you will learn both the academics and the hands-on experience that is required from all dog groomers. You will be provided with a kit that has everything you need to complete your training.
The academics portion can be done online and depending on how fast you study, there will be a test held weekly. When you have finished the academics with a C+ grade, then you’re ready for the hands-on part of the program. This will start with the washing and drying, and then you’ll move to clipping, then scissoring as you become more ready.
If at the academics part your grade is lower than a C+, you can try again at a rate of Hazel’s choosing.
